Designed for children aged 2 - 5 years, the G-Bike + allows you to bypass training wheels by teaching balance from the start. It's a bike without pedals or chains that toddlers propel with their feet, learning balance and coordination needed to ride a bike later in life. Constructed of aluminium, the G-Bike + is ultra lightweight. At only 6.4 pounds, children have the ability to control and maneuver it easily. The G-bike can be used year-round, indoors and out, thanks to the quiet, smooth-gliding, non-marking wheels. The seat is adjustable from 13 inches to 15.5 inches and the handlebars are adjustable from 20 inches to 21 inches. NOTE: Although the manufacturer recommends this product for ages 2 to 5 we have found that children ages 2 and 3 are best able to use it as intended, for learning to balance on two wheels.

Children will learn to ride the G-Bike intuitively but we find that children who are shown the G-Bike video pick it up just that much more quickly.

Watch their confidence grow as children learn to balance on the G-bike. It is amazing to see such young children pick up their feet and glide on two wheels at such a young age.

Both feet are in easy reach of ground, helping them to feel safe as they learn to balance and coast.

The rubber knob at the end of the seat stem is there to protect kids from injuries.

The light weight helps parents have an easier time carrying the G-Bike on the way home after a long day at the park.

Its adjustable seat and steering mechanism accommodate growing kids, gliding, non-marking wheels roll over bumpy sidewalks with ease, and the durable, ultra-light construction means it can be passed down through your family for years.

SAFETY - For best protection, we recommend that children wear helmets and knee pads when riding.

Additional Information

  • Ages: 2-5 - while it is true that the G-bike can be ridden by children ages 2 to 5, we do recommend it primarily for 2 and 3 year olds. A 4 year old might ride it happily but not in the way in which it was intended and designed, as a balance bike, or for learning balance. Older children tend to ride it around for fun, but with feet dragging, so we do recommend this product for children ages 2 or 3 only.

BEST VALUE! Posted on 2/14/14

I bought my son Micro Flex Original 3-years ago and have purchased a Maxi and a Micro Balance Bike since then. My kids LOVE their scooters and bike so much that they play with them more than any other toy/scooter/bike, etc. I have ever bought. I would recommend these products to anyone looking for great value, quality, and something their kids will love and have for a long time.

Mini Micro/ Micro Balance Bike Posted on 2/14/14

My son was 1.5-years old when he first saw the Mini Micro. He started to try our neighbor's Mini and fell in love with it. He got his orange Mini Micro at his 2y birthday, since then, he rides everywhere with his Mini and almost refuses to walk on his own. Somehow I think he needs to train his left leg more because he is scooting with his right leg. So we got him the Micro Balance Bike to help him work on both legs. He still loves his Mini because he can go really fast. And it's lightweight, easy to maneuver. We are looking forward to the Maxi when my son turns 5 next year. Our second son was always watching his older brother riding the Mini, so we wanted to give him the 3in1 a try when our younger son was 1. Unfortunately he doesn't like sitting on it but prefers standing like his brother. We ended up not buying the O bar and decided to wait until he is older when he can ride the Mini directly.
