Details

The Pedalflow is an innovative, compact, folding bike, without a seat! Designed for short commutes, the Pedalflow is great for the "last mile" to the office, rolling around the marina, or showing off on your way to town. Fun to ride and easy to carry, the Pedalflow also is useful as transport on campus. One of the most important benefits of no seat or crossbar is that getting on and off is quick and easy. It also lowers the weight. At only 16 lbs, the Pedaflow is one of the lightest-weight folding bikes on the market. The lighter weight makes it convenient to carry inside or on to public transport, using the lowered handlebar to carry it. Maintenance is simple, with no cables to worry about as the backpedal brake is built into the rear wheel hub and never needs replacing or adjusting. The cast aluminum wheels and rugged tires are suitable for all surfaces, so you can take the Pedalflow just about anywhere.

Ride, fold, carry, repeat. No seat, no problem.

Designed for adults and teens.

Please note, this product features pneumatic (air-filled) tires that may need to be inflated prior to riding. Upon receipt of the product, please check that tires are fully inflated to 80 PSI and add air as needed.

HOW FAR CAN IT GO?
The Pedalflow is designed for short commutes and is best on relatively flat terrain. It is recommended for those that have achieved a certain level of fitness because the rider is standing throughout the ride. The Pedalflow is perfect if you are going a mile or two, but some riders regularly cover distances of 3-5 miles. It requires more effort on inclines as the fixed gear ratio has been optimized for standing. Not recommended for hilly terrain.

TIP FOR RIDING
The Pedalflow is a great work out!  A tip for riding the longer distances is to re-position your feet on the pedals at intervals to avoid calf fatigue. Alternating the two foot positions - between the ball of the foot and the middle of the foot - will activate different muscles providing a great workout without fatigue.

HOW TO START
The high fixed ratio of the Pedalflow is optimized for a standing ride - so it requires less turns than a typical bicycle. Because of the high fixed ratio when starting off it is best to put one foot on the fully down pedal and push off with the other as you would do with a scooter. Then bring the other foot on board and pedal yourself to peak fitness!

FOR EXTRA FUN
Try going really slow on your Pedalflow - you will be amazed at how slow you can go and stay in control, as the lack of obstruction posed by a seat means you can balance this baby really well.

Awesome little Bike
I do a lot of flying and this bike is perfect for my trips. I use it to and from airports, it's great for a few miles. Only improvement I would suggest is possibly making it a 3 speed for the variations in terrain other than that it's awesome!

Best INVESTMENT!
I looooove my Pedal Flow. I've been riding it for 5 months now and it's an amazing workout. It takes some getting use to, but once you get the hang of it, you'll never stop riding. It's lightweight and folds up easily for traveling. I'm so happy that I invested in the Pedal Flow. An absolutely perfect riding machine!

Better than expected
I'm 6'4" 195lbs. I'm a hard core bike anything. I own and ride Mountain bikes, road bikes and tri bikes. I also have Micro's line of adult push scooters. I have to admit, just looking at it, I thought no way this will get me anywhere fast. I was wrong, it really does move and I can keep up with regular bike riders on the bike trails. However, I would agree with the European classification as sporting equipment vs. a bike or scooters hybrid. It is an awesome logging substitute work out machine or a short distance casual quick getting around type equipment. It is in a class of its own. I would still prefer a scooter for travel and longer commutes through NYC, however, for a casual ride on a beach boardwalk or an hour fast pace workout machine that you can take anywhere and do not have the impact, this is the equipment to have. It is absolutely not a toy and not for kids!! If you are active and love to get a work out in without having to go to the gym, you will love it. If you prefer a casual less physical transformation vehicle, this may not be the right choice for you. It fits my lifestyle perfect and I love it, that is why I gave it 5 stars. I also manage to go up shorter rolling hills, it is greared high, which it has to be, otherwise it would be slow and a toy!

Great ride
A first it was a little hard to learn how to ride, now I bring it everyday to work and fold it up and store it under my desk. For the price its a deal I've seen similar products for 500+ , the ride is smooth and it took 15 min to put together out of the box and I think maybe five min if that was me looking for a pair if scissors .Amazing quality and very heavy duty product won't break easily ,very light .

Fun for adults too!
When you have several kids, it's easy to forget that you can have fun cool toys too! I won this item and feel super spoiled to have it. I can ride around the trails with my kids on their fun Micro scooters. It takes a minute to get the feel and balance right, it's new to be pedaling and standing. My husband compares the feel of it to an Elyptical. It doesn't go up hill well, but if you get some momentum it will do small hills and it doesn't go very fast. It wouldn't keep up with a bike, but scooters are perfect. The adults that see me with it are all intrigued and want to try it! They've all liked it! Lots of fun!

A pedal scooter with rubber wheels will hopefully solve my problem of getting around bumpy Boston side walks and minor hills.

Can a 6'4" 200lbs rider feel comfortable on the bike?
Klaus B on Aug 11, 2017
BEST ANSWER: This product is suitable for riders standing between 5' - 6'4" and can support a max load of 220 pounds
Is this geared so low, that you can only ride at 10mph or even less?
Klaus B on Aug 11, 2017
BEST ANSWER: You can certainly ride the Pedalflow faster than 10mph, though it will take more rider input (ie pedaling) when compared to a geared bike.

Despite being a bicycle, the Pedalflow has several similarities to kick scooter:

*To begin moving, you push off and then start to pedal
*Due to the gear ratio, you are able to balance the Pedalflow at slower speeds (like a scooter)
*You remain standing the entire time, similar to a scooter
*It is suitable for "Micro distances" (ie 2-4 miles) similar to a scooter
