**Comes with T-bar AND Joystick! - (both handlebar styles included)

Designed for adults and teens, the Kickboard Monster offers street surfing at its best. Wide wheels, cool graphics and wide track offer better balance and greater stability for those wanting to create long curves and build up some speed on the streets. The flex deck is made from a composite of fiberglass and marine ply, which together with precision bearings, absorbs bumps and guarantees a smooth ride. The Monster combines all the best features of the Kickboard Original with go-anywhere wide wheels. A rubber insert on the rear protects you from brake heat. In Joystick or T-bar mode, you get a skateboard style ride with more control and maneuverability. The Monster stays upright, so it is easy to park, or fold it up and carry it with you using the Monster's patented folding mechanism. A very stable ride, perfect for long carving turns at high speeds.

The wide wheels will give you more surface on the ground and a little better holding as a result. While in theory that should mean the wheels wouldn't be as fast as those on the Kickboard Original, which has thinner wheels, riders have told us they can build more speed on the Monster because the wide wheels and better holding helped them to kick faster and more confidently.

The Kickboard Monster comes completely assembled, with the patented folding mechanism. To unfold your Monster, simply pull to release the locking mechanism at the base of the Joystick then raise. Make sure the Joystick is locked in the upright position before riding.

SAFETY - We recommend that riders wear a helmet. This scooter is not designed for jumps or stunts, but our Freestyle scooters are.

Please note, when you take this product out of its display box, it will arrive in "Joystick mode."  The components needed to convert your handlebar over to a T-bar are included right inside the box with your scooter and instruction manual.  Switching from one handlebar style over to the other is quite easy!

Now with interchangeable T-bar/Joystick!  Quickly and conveniently convert your kickboard from the more "traditional" T-bar steering over to the Joystick steering, which provides more of a skateboarding or longboarding feel.

Absolutely perfect
I bought this scooter for my son who has some balance issues because of mild cerebral palsy. I thought having three wheels would make it a better fit. I couldn't be more thrilled. He loves his scooter and does even better on it than I hoped. My other sons also thinks it's totally cool, and even I have to admit that it's lots of fun! This was worth every penny!

Amazing Scooter
This isnt your average scooter its like a beefed up three wheeled longboard but with a whole lot more control and stabality and at the same time very porttible. I use this scooter to take my 7-month old siberian husky on runs/have him pull me just about every day and its a blast. When I get my husky to run up to full speed I have no issues hanging on and flying down the streets, amazing moverability, very easy to stop and top notch quality. Ive put on at least 20 miles and very little wear and tear. I have a feeling this product will stay with me for a long time, very pleased!

Handlebar height from deck = 26 inches to 38 inches (adjustable)
We are interested in buying a replacement for my daughters Maxie. She is almost 11 years old. We are also thinking about getting one for my wife and I to share. Trying to decide between the compact, or original, or monster. Any advice?
Mike and Chris on Apr 15, 2017
BEST ANSWER: This product would not be ideal for your 11-year-old daughter but could definitely work for you and/or your wife. Here are the main differences in our adult 3-wheelers:

Monster: Heaviest, biggest 3-wheeler with wide wheels. Very stable and durable but comes with a sacrifice of speed and rolling distance (ie more pedaling required from rider)

Original: Our traditional adult 3-wheeler; this has standard-width wheels along with a full-sized deck (same size as Monster deck)

Compact: Our "compacted" (ie smaller) version of the KB Original. The deck is 4 inches shorter, this makes the scooter very lightweight and portable; on the same token, riders with larger feet may prefer the Original or Monster
Can this scooter use air filled tires?
Skategurl21 on Mar 19, 2017
BEST ANSWER: No, it cannot
How much does it weigh? Easy to carry around or isnot quite heavy?
Jack78 on Feb 18, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The Monster is one of our heavier products-- it weighs 12 pounds. It is a robust, solid scooter that offers great stability and traction. Cheers!
My 11 year old son is 5'10 and growing. Can the bars be adjusted to work for him?
EAHSOON on Dec 16, 2016
BEST ANSWER: This scooter can be used by riders up to 6'2" and/or 220 pounds
Is this slower than the original?
Vladimir M on Dec 5, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Due to the wide ("Monster") wheels, this scooter has much more polyurethane contacting the ground when compared to the KB Original. This results in added grip/traction but does come at a sacrifice of rolling distance and speed.

To directly answer your question, yes, this scooter would be considered "slower" than a KB Original
