Great for early-stage tricks
Our 7-year old has been enjoying his new Trixx scooter. He is just getting started learning some benign tricks and has noted the nice, solid construction plus the light weight design. The grips are grippy and the deck also has good traction. One issue we had early on was the loosening of the bolts that clamp the steering column to the front wheel. Nothing a little tightening couldn't resolve. Seems to me that a more secure locking system for that front wheel connection would help.

My 8 year old is ready for a new scooter. He tends to jump off kerbs and steps and has started going to the ramps at the skate park. So I opted for a beginners stunt scooter rather than the sprint. I think he needs something more sturdy.

Our 8 year old - who grew up on her Micro Scooter since age 3 - finally outgrew a three wheeled scooter, and wants to do tricks.

Looks safer than a skateboard and a good introduction to skateboarding
Carlos R on Nov 27, 2015
We've loved all of the Micro scooters we have purchased and used and our oldest is asking for a 2-wheeled scooter (and we know he likes to jump his current one) and we figure a stunt one would be a great addition.

My son tried it at a friend's and liked it.

What is the difference between the trixx and the sprite?
claire g on Aug 31, 2015
Trixx
Trixx
Sprite
Sprite
BEST ANSWER: The Trixx is a stunt scooter whereas the Sprite is a commuter scooter. Stunt scooters do not fold-down or adjust height-wise (they are very much "one solid piece" for safety reasons); commuter scooters are able to be folded-down and are adjustable. That said, it is not safe to use a commuter scooter for jumps/tricks.
The UK site says 5 and up, but here it says ages 8+. Would this scooter be appropriate for a 4-year old boy who likes to jump on his scooter at the skate park?
AmyTu on Aug 20, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Here in the United States, this product has only been safety-tested for use by riders ages 8+. Due to this, I cannot suggest that your 4-year-old uses this product. This scooter is otherwise a great "beginner stunt scooter" for riders ages 8+, cheers!
My son is turning 12 he is 80lbs will this scooter be a good choice?
Kathy W on Sep 25, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Depending on his height, yes (the scooter can hold 220 pounds). The handlebar on this scooter is 27 inches from the deck. Stunt scooters have handlebars that are lower to the ground for optimum control
Are the handle bars adjustable?
A shopper on Jun 22, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hi there, the handlebars do *not* adjust on our stunt scooters. This is a good thing as our stunt scooters are designed for jumps and tricks-- doing jumps and tricks aboard a scooter that adjusts/folds can be very dangerous! Sincerey, david@microkickboard.com
How high is the handle bar from the ground or deck?
Jamie W on Apr 1, 2016
BEST ANSWER: 31 inches from the ground
Does the Trixx Scooter also have the folding option like the other scooters?
Dahiana R on Aug 14, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Stunt scooters do *not* fold-down-- rather, they instead have a "one piece" style of construction that makes them strong enough to withstand jumps, tricks, etc. Scooters that adjust or fold-down are not suitable for doing jumps and tricks.
