An innovative new scooter from Micro designed for commuters, the Suspension scooter is ideal for urban sidewalks. The patented suspension system absorbs the bumps, making it perfect for long rides on uneven surfaces. The front and back suspension work together to isolate the rider from shocks and vibrations; you float over the bumps. Robust construction makes the Micro Suspension suitable for heavier riders, but still light enough to be easily carried, while the metallic bronze finish means you arrive at work in style. Fold and put under your desk for the commute home.  An adjustable handlebar accommodates tall adults.

This is one smooth operator - say goodbye to shake and rattle - and roll in comfort.

Best out of three
We own a go ped and razor. By far micro is smoother, lighter and preferred over the other two by our three boys. The only improvement I See is the hand grips.

Smooth as Silk
This suspension system is superb!
We rode this all over sidewalks and driveway cracks and it was such a smooth ride. My son says it's feels like you're scootering on air.
For an older teen or adult this is the way to go!!

Solid city commute
I purchased this scooter specifically to get me from the train station to my office in downtown Chicago. I don't regret it for a second! The ride is about a mile each way, and the scooter negotiates every bump, crack and grate without an issue. I even take it across some of the bridges (pedestrian traffic permitting). The only time I have to walk it is across train tracks. The large wheels combined with the suspension is a rock solid system. The scooter cuts down my travel time and its honestly a lot of fun.

I fold up the scooter and it fits on the luggage rack of the train. There's a bungie cord running inside the handles connecting the endcaps, so I pull one out and wrap it around a bar on the rack to secure the scooter. Conductors have never given me a hard time about it (full size bikes are not allowed during rush hour, and I've occasionally seen guys with folding bikes get scolded). It also fits on the floor of the back seat in my vehicle.

I ride in sun, rain, snow and cold. The only issues I've had is slush will cake around the front fender (but you still go), ice makes it hard to push with your kicking leg (but the scooter still goes), and after about 10 minutes in -5 degrees or lower the steering gets a little stiff (but it still goes).

The Cadillac of kick scooters
This sturdy scooter is appropriately sized for an actual adult, and the shock absorbers make it as smooth as riding a bicycle. It feels very solid. I previously had a different scooter (the mass-produced one) and it fell apart. This one is great.

One complaint is that it squeaks sometimes when stepping onto it, probably because of the shocks, I'm guessing. It's worth it. Makes my commute 3x faster.

Definitely a Scooter for the Commuter
I purchased my Micro Suspension Scooter after having ridden my Micro kick board scooter for six months. I commute to work so I needed a heavy duty scooter able to handle the bumps of the street and sidewalk but still able to be folded for when I'm on the train and the bus, Also, the suspension makes the ride sooooo smooth. Although, I did have a few initial problems, the customer service at Micro was second to none to get me back to riding in no time. This scooter is also very sturdy. I was in a bit of a car accident and the scooter is still in tact and rideable. Props to Micro for making a sturdy ride that looks great!

I used to ride the Black Kickboard... This is better!
I loved riding my black kickboard for over a year. However, i made the mistake of not tightening the screws and I broke it. Enter the suspension scooter. it is so quiet and so smooth. What used to take me 10 kicks only takes 5 on my sparkly new scooter. I LOVE IT. And for those friends in the Bay Area that take casual carpool, it can fit between your legs in a car. I must also note that Micro's customer service is next to none. They have replaced bolts and helped me every step of the way. What a great company to support.

I'm glad I bought this scooter
The scooter is not too heavy to carry around. The suspension is great, especially on sidewalks with cracks. Surprisingly fast too.

Great value, exactly what promised
The scooter is solid built, easy to fold, stow and carry. I use it from the electric car charging station to work, about two miles and crossing two freeways. A pleasure to ride and great exercise.
The back fender works great as a brake, I'm glad I ordered it.

I just bought my third scooter . Love their products, best quality available and I have done my research. This last one is for an adult .... So he can have fun with his kids on the weekend. Great products, so much to choose from and their introduction of the smallest scooter for 1 yrs - 5.... As it grows with them is genius! Great website and so easy to use. Free shipping is the icing on the cake.

What is best scooter for adult 250lbs?
A shopper on Jun 6, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Currently, all of our adult models feature a weight limit of 220 pounds. However, we are having this scooter (the Suspension) tested to see if it can be approved for a greater weight limit-- please contact us later this summer if you would to hear back: we have a toll-free telephone number, 888-236-5657, and are open Mon-Fri from 9am to 5pm Eastern Standard Time (EST). Cheers!
What is the weight limit. I weigh 230?

BEST ANSWER: The weight limit for this product = 250 pounds
what is the difference between you guys and a regular razor scooter?
Daniel J on Feb 28, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Hi Daniel! With a Micro-brand scooter, there are no shortcuts: the materials, Swiss designs, and superior manufacturing are top-notch in the scooter community. Our scooters also include 2-year warranties, a testament to our scooters' durability and functionality over time. Our scooters may be a bit more expensive than a Razor, but the quality obviously reflects this difference =)
What is the clearance of this scooter? and the thickness of the deck?
Raphaelle.Z on Nov 23, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hi there! The bottom of the scooter's deck is about 3 inches from the ground. The top of the deck (ie standing platform) is a total of 4 inches off the ground-- the deck is about an inch thick. Cheers!
Is this model available in other colors?
James P on Oct 16, 2015
BEST ANSWER: It is not available in other colors. Cheers!
How tall of an Adult does this comfortably serve?
Atoosa R on Oct 12, 2015
BEST ANSWER: About 6'4''
What is the difference between this and the suspension scooter? Our son has the suspension and loves it. My daughter wants one, but doesn't want the same color. She's 15, and would like a comfortable scooter to use to ride to and from school.

Suspension Scooter
Micro White
Micro White
BEST ANSWER: The Suspension is our biggest, heaviest 2-wheeler; it is our only scooter for riders up to 6'5" and/or 250 pounds. The Micro White, conversely, is a bit smaller (riders up to 6'3" and/or 220 pounds) and is about 35% lighter.

Without knowing your daughter's height/weight, I would normally suggest the Micro White for her (rather than the Suspension). I suspect that the Suspension would simply be "too much scooter," if that makes sense. If you would like to further discuss, please give us a call-- we have a toll-free telephone number, 888-236-5657, and are open Mon-Fri from 9am to 5pm Eastern Standard Time (EST). Cheers!
How is the suspension scooter better than a goped know?
Rachelle N on Jan 19, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The Suspension scooter offers an incredibly smooth, almost "cushy" riding experience. For a non-motorized scooter, this is as comfortable as it gets. Gopeds do not have nearly as much suspension/cushion for the rider. Please feel free to call us with further questions-- we have a toll-free telephone number, 888-236-5657, and are open Mon-Fri from 9am to 5pm Eastern Standard Time (EST).
Is it rugged and durable enough for a daily commute of 3 miles each way?
Hal M on Dec 23, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes, definitely. That said, you will need to provide maintenance at a greater frequency when putting this many miles on the scooter-- for instance, you will want to regularly check + tighten the nuts in bolts in the folding block area of the scooter. This is the area that receives a majority of the vibrations whilst out and about.

Other things to check are the wheels-- rotate/replace as needed-- and the brake. Thankfully, all of the parts on a Micro-brand scooter are replaceable due to the modular design. Cheers!
What are the deciding factors between this and the Flex Air? The cost and benefits are similar.
Yih L on Nov 24, 2016
Suspension Scooter
Suspension Scooter
Flex Air
Flex Air
BEST ANSWER: Key difference = the tires (wheels)

The Flex Air features rubber, air-filled tires-- these offer superior traction and grip but come at a notable sacrifice of speed and rolling distance. Air-filled tires also absorb vibrations more than our standard wheels (though they are "slower")

The Suspension features our traditional 200mm poly (polyurethane) wheels that are fast, smooth, and offer optimal gliding distance. They will not offer as much traction or vibration absorption but are notably faster than 200mm air-filled wheels. Also, the Suspension is our only model that features suspension in the front/rear, this makes for a cushy, comfortable ride
What are the dimensions of the scooter when it is folded?
Sarah B on Jul 1, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Depending on which way you turn the handlebars, there are two folded dimensions:

Handlebars turned horizontally: 33 inches x 16 inches x 10 inches

Handlebars turned vertically: 33 inches x 8 inches x 17.5 inches
How wide is the handlebar? Tnx

What size bearings do these wheels take? Are they the same size as the other scooters that have 200mm wheels (micro black/white)?
Jeremy A on Sep 23, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The bearings are ABEC 5. This scooter indeed uses the same type of (200mm) wheels as the Micro Black/White. Cheers!
How fast does the scooter go?
A shopper on Jun 21, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hi there, this scooter goes as fast as the rider can propel it (ie "kicking"). Thus, an athletic individual that is well-versed on our scooters is likely to go faster than a novice with limited athleticism. Cheers!
