To install:

  1. To remove the stock handlebar, flip the scooter upside down and look for the small push button that sticks out from the area where the handlebar attaches to the scooter base.
  2. Press that button in while pulling the handlebar up and away from the base.
  3. Press in the push button on the new handlebar.
  4. Insert the handlebar into the scooter base, listening for the click.

Liberating!
The joystick makes the ride much more exciting as you can ride much more like a (very stable) skateboard. My daughter loves carving turns with it!

Just the thing
Easy to replace this part. We love how we can fix what's broken and not have to buy a whole new scooter.
