Micro Kickboard provided me with the Micro Mini for review. Information was gathered from both the Micro Kickboard website and personal use. All opinions of the use of the kickboard are my own.

Micro Kickboard is the U.S. based distributor for the Swiss company Micro-Mibility. This brand is known for its innovative designs and has been leading the revolution in personal transportation since 1999. There is a Micro for every age 1 to 99+! How many other companies can say that?

What first led me to finding the Micro brand was a search for the best 3-wheeled scooter for my three year old. She loves the outdoors and likes to follow in her big sister's footsteps. However she wasn't quite ready any of the 2-wheeled options on the market like what her big sis has. After being unimpressed with products in stores and their poor reviews I hit the web. The modern designs and fun colors of Micro are what first captured my eye.  After looking further into their products and brand, I knew I found just the right one.

The Micro Mini is a 3-wheeled kickboard for ages 3 to 5 years old. This CPSC safety certified kickboard boasts smooth non-marking wheels, back wheel brake and a flexible fiberglass reinforced deck. The unique lean-to-steer design is what sets it apart from the rest. By using their bodies and weight to steer left and right children are developing key balance and coordination while having fun surfing the sidewalks.

Right from the box I was impressed with this mini kickboard. I picked the pink mini and love how the contrasting orange brake looks. It came in two piece, the deck and the handle bars/stand. With a simple click these two pieces snap together and you're ready to ride! There was no adjusting and fidgeting with pieces to get them level, straight or the right height (a major turn-off of competitor products).

Out of excitement, and knowing the wheels wouldn't mark up the floor, I let my giddy little girl take a test ride through our apartment. She took right to it quickly gaining in both confidence and speed. Steering was a little more tricky but she is slowly getting the hang of it. I love that this scooter is helping her development alongside helping her have fun.

At a price point of $79.99 this is at the top of the market but if you are looking for a quality made, fun and unique kickboard for your kids this one is worth every penny. I couldn't be more thrilled with this kickboard and I love that she will get years of use out of it.
